Year 4 Class Worship

Our PE days are: Tuesday and Thursday.

Please send your child in correct PE kit.  This consists of:

A plain white top, black shorts and appropriate running trainers (no hi-tops e.g. converse).

Alternatively, your child can wear our new, red, St James' PE kit.  Please ask staff if you require more information regarding this.

Your child will be tested on their spellings every Friday.

Spellings can be found in your child's homework pack which will be sent home with them at the end of every day.  There are around 6 spellings to learn each week which are all linked to a different sound.  Your child will be rewarded with class dojos for every piece of completed homework - one spelling sheet and one maths sheet per week.

Reading and Times Tables.

Reading with your child and encouraging them to practice their times tables supports their learning enormously!  Please try and aim for 10 minutes of reading everyday.  Towards the end of the year, your child will complete an official multiplication tables check.  The more time they spend on TT Rockstars, the more confidence they will have when it comes to completing their test.
