* jam
We would be very grateful for any donations of these foods which we can pass on to the food bank. The last day to bring the items in will be Wednesday 9th October.

5K Colour Run
Mrs. Tindall bumped into Isabella and Ashton on Sunday who were all running the Shelter 5k Colour Run to raise money for the homeless.
Well done everyone. It is great to see you raising awareness and money for local causes.
This year, Miss Smith, Mrs Malik and Miss Schofield arranged with Rev. Rebecca for our Courageous Advocates and Worship Warriors to have prayer friends in the local community. The children wrote a letter introducing themselves to their prayer friend and their prayer friends replied. They carried on communicating via letters and cards throughout the year and the Courageous Advocates and Worship Warriors also sent their prayer friends a Christmas and Easter card. In July, Miss Smith, Mrs Malik and Miss Schofield organised a tea party so that the children could meet their prayer friends. Everyone had a great time and loved the new initiative so we will be doing it again next year!
Our Courageous Advocates arranged an event in school to raise money for the Cancer Bank, a local charity that is supplying people with the things they need during cancer treatment and also arranging events such as walks, zumba and yoga to bring people together. We will be continuing to support this worthwhile cause.
After 12 months of both pupils and parents giving their views for the research project the findings have now arrived. Thank you to all who took the time to be interviewed and to complete surveys around how children can help to integrate communities.
