Star of the Week
Star of the week this week has been awarded to Lilly-Mai, Lilly has tried really hard this week and shown lots of kindness and compassion towards her friends. Lilly has also been doing a great job at working independently and staying on task. Well done Lilly-Mai

We have been very lucky this week, Mrs Malik came to read with us, she read some of our BFG book.
Science/DT
In our DT and science topic we have been busy making torches. The children have shown great perseverance as these have been very tricky to design and make. The children had to firstly make a switch, then add a working circuit. Next the children had to make the outer torch using a plastic bottle and tin foil. Finally this needed finishing by getting the circuit inside the torch without it disconnecting.
