Week 3

Week 3

This week we have had a jam packed week of learning! We have been busy bees working hard in all of our lessons! We have really loved learning this week, and it has been a great week in class!

Star of the Week

This week our star of the week is Talula. She always gives 100% effort in every lesson, and has had a real focus on improving her writing this week and becoming more independent! Well done Talula.

Science

We enjoyed looking at the results of our solar ovens this week, and seeing whether our chocolate and marshmallows had melted. We were super excited to learn that on the whole they had worked. We evaluated the results, and discovered that the black box had melted more chocolate as black holds heat.

History

This week we looked at some stone age objects that were found. We used these as clues to decide what they would have been used for. This week, we did a lot of teamwork in our kagan groups, whilst we carried out a matching activity.

PE

This week in PE we continued working on our fundamental skills. We were practicing running and sprinting. We were able to travel around the playground in a variety of ways.
