We have been looking at the fascinating world of science fiction and planets this week.
English
This week, groups have performed presentations to the class based on their predictions about what will happen 200 years into the future.
The children also created expanded noun phrases based on different science fiction pictures.
Science
We have been learning about the planets in our solar system this week.
The pictures show the children ordering the planets and writing interesting facts about them.
Maths
This week the children have been mastering the process of division.
Geography
We are learning all about rivers in geography this half term. The children have been organising pictures of a river from source to mouth and matching geographical vocabulary based on our topic to pictures.
In St James, we are following a new initiative which will encourage us to walk to school. We are pleased to announce the Year 5 WOW Walking Ambassadors are Travis and Willow M.
