Week 6

This week we have started a new unit in English 'Songs and lyrics'.  The children have thoroughly enjoyed listening to music and analysing the lyrics of a range of different songs.  We looked at using similies and metaphors to create imaginery and the children created their own representations of what the songs meant to them.

In DT we have started sewing our waistcoats and the children have been amazing.  They persevered and were resilient and we had a lovely creative afternoon.  The children can't wait to finish them and add decoration next week.
