This week we had a visit from the Lancashire Fire Service, who delivered the important messages of fire safety and road safety.
As part of our biography unit in English, the children have enjoyed using their research skills to find key information about Mary Anning. We have also challenged the children to research an additional person at home, in readiness for their independent biography next week.
In maths, the children have been using their oracy skills and mathematical reasoning skills to solve multi step problems with their Kagan groups.
The children created some informative posters linked to assertiveness in PSHE this week. They have been learning how to be assertive in a positive way and have enjoyed demonstrating their artistic talents!
In French the children played an odd one out game as the practised describing special features of different French speaking countries.
It's been a very busy week with lots of learning and collaborative working! Well done Year 6!
