Week 1
The children came back to school full of energy and ready to learn this week, which was lovely.
We have started our new science topic - plants. The children enjoyed dissecting bulbs and seeds and used a microscope to compare them. They drew and labelled them and are looking forward to investigating what plants need to grow next week.
We had active maths and active grammar lessons this week and the children played games in the hall and in the classroom whilst learning their 5 times table and reading and recognising different types of sentences.
In music we have learnt to sing a song and play an instrument in time to the music. Ask your child if they can sing you 'Once a man fell down a well'
