Guided Reading

In Guided Reading this week, we have been reading 'Look Up' by Nathan Bryon.

Each week we learn new vocabulary words and answer questions about the story.

This week we have been discovering our sense of smell. Our sense of smell often helps us with our taste. We can also use this sense to keep us safe. If we smell burning or fire we can then get help.

Miss Bryan blindfolded us and we had six different foods to smell. We could only use our sense of smell to help us match the smell to the pictures. We had lots of fun! Some of the smells we liked and there were some we didn't!
