Week 2 (Monday 22nd April - Friday 26th April

Science

This week, we have been discussing how our caterpillars have changed over time and how this has happened. We talked about what will happen next.

Once our caterpillars have stored enough energy, they will climb to the top of the cup and attach themselves, to the underside of the lid. They will hang in a 'J' shape, moult (shed their skin one last time and harden into chrysalides.

We are very excited for this to happen and know that we aren't allowed to touch the cup once this happens.

Obstacle Course

Miss Bryan set us a challenge this week, to build an obstacle course using lots of different resources from the outdoor area. The children had to try and make something that they had to balance along, something that they could go under and something that they could go over. Could they travel backwards through part of the course?

They were up for the challenge and couldn't wait to get started!
