This week we started our new English unit 'Traditional Tales with a Twist'. We enjoyed reading the story 'Jack and the Baked beanstalk', debated whether Jack should climb the beanstalk and worked with our Kagan partners to sequence and retell the traditional tale with a twist.
In Design and Technology we are learning about structures and our first lesson allowed to explore the stability of different shapes . We conducted an investigation in pairs using playdoh and a 'ramp' to help us to find out which shapes are more stable than others.
In PE we started our gymnastic unit and had fun learning new shapes with our partners! We made a short sequence with our partner and presented our sequences to the class.
