No Pens Day
On Wednesday we enjoyed putting our pencils down for the day and focusing on our oracy skills.

No Pens Day Start of Day Activity (SODA)
Year 1 did a great job of talking about the image on the screen and think of their own stories based on the picture with their partners.
Show and Tell
The children enjoyed sharing their items brought in from home. We heard some great questions being asked which were relevant to the items aswell!
Computing
This week, we started our Lego Builders unit of work.
We focused on following instructions this week.
We learnt that an algorithm is a set of step-by-step instructions.
We built Lego models that our shoulder partners couldn't see. We then had to give detailed instructions to our partner so they could try and build the same model.
We really enjoyed this activity and Miss Bryan was impressed with how alike the models were at the end.
