English - Songs & Lyrics

This week, we wrote our own version of 'What a wonderful world'. We have spent time looking at lots of different song lyrics, considering the effects on the reader and analysing the features. We applied our learning to our own lyrics with a focus on figurative language. Then, we performed our poetry to the class. Check out some of our performances on our video!

This week, we have started to learn about ratio. We used cubes and counters to explore the relationships between the values and deepen our understanding.
