What a great time we had celebrating VE day on Thursday with a blue, white and red theme. It was lovely to see so many of you joining us for the picnic and the lovely weather made it even better! During the day the children received a letter from veteran, Bombardier Tom Jones. Tom, aged 103, told us about his experiences of World War 2 and the jubilation he felt on VE Day eighty years ago. The children drew pictures and wrote letters for Tom which we are sure he will be thrilled to receive. Tom's message for us was to be kind and to choose peace. 💗🕊️
