Year 5 and Reception – Stop and Read!

Year 5 and Reception met yesterday for a Stop and Read session in the hall.

Children in Reception Class chose their favourite books and their Year 5 buddies kindly read to them.

Everyone had a wonderful time, and Year 5 (and Mrs Jacques) received a lovely surprise at the end — the Reception children performed their English songs to them, complete with actions!

It was truly wonderful!
