We enjoyed our visit to the library this week and were excited to have 'a chat with an author'. Christine Gabbitas read her stories to us and explained her journey of how she became an author.
In DT we have started our new unit 'mechanisms' and designed our own Ferris wheel, complete with pods, a frame and a wheel and axle. We can't wait to continue with the DT process over the next few weeks.
We finished reading 'The Lighthouse Keeper's lunch' this week so on Friday we decided we would like to understand how the seagulls felt eating mustard! We taste tested mustard on rice cakes and lots of the children actually liked the hot, unique taste!
