Week 2 (Monday 15th January - Friday 19th January)

Science

This week in science, we continued our animals unit. We discussed what animals need to survive and what makes an animal a living thing.

The children drew pictures of living and non-living things.

Marshmallow Igloos

On Friday, we made igloos using a chocolate teacake, icing sugar and marshmallows, the children really enjoyed this and were excited to take their igloos home to eat!

Phonics

Buddy Lunchtime

On Tuesday, we enjoyed having our lunch with our Year 5 buddies. We then went outside to have some fun in the snow with them!
