Year 1 had another busy and exciting week of learning. In PSHE, the children explored what it means to be a good listener. They practised demonstrating attentive listening skills and discussed simple strategies they could use to help resolve conflict situations. In Computing, the children enjoyed their final introductory session on Purple Mash, where they learnt how to open an activity independently and then save their work into the ‘My Work’ area. In Maths, the focus was on comparing numbers, with the children confidently using the vocabulary less than, equal to and greater than to explain their thinking. It was a fantastic week full of new skills, teamwork and growing independence, and we are very proud of their achievements.
