Week 1

In computing this week, we have started to look at staying safe on-line. The children have been introduced to the SMART rules. We have discussed A - not accepting requests from unknown sources and R - ensuring that the website they are looking at is reliable. Ask your child to tell you about the North West Pacific Tree Octopus.

In maths, we have started to look at Place Value. We will be learning about numbers to 1,000,000. To support our learning, we have used place value counters on place value grids.
