Week 1 (Monday 20th February - Friday 24th February)
Phonics
This week we have continued our phase 3 learning and we learnt two new digraphs. We have been practising reading and writing words containing these digraphs.
School Disco
Some of the Reception children enjoyed their first school disco this week, organised by the PTFA. The children had a great time dancing and playing games.
Music
This half term our music focus is 'Music and Movement'
This week we focused on action songs. We discussed that actions make songs more fun
and easier to understand and remember. They also help some people understand the songs more. Actions can be used to help make songs easier to understand for children
who find communicating difficult.
