Week 1

Happy New Year!

We have started a mystery adventure story - The Secret Seven, and we have been working on identifying and discussing new vocabulary.  We have read to chapter 3 so far and have identified and discussed the characters and settings in the story.

To deepen our understanding, we have had collaborative discussions with each other and used 'tell me' questions so find out answers to our questions.

 

Filip is our star of the week for his amazing efforts in class. Since returning to school after the Christmas break, Filip has really matured and has begun to really focus during lessons and take pride in his independent work.  You have really impressed me this week with your behaviour and enthusiasm for learning, well done Filip and keep it up!

Rithika received a certificate of achievement for excellent effort with your handwriting.  Well done!
