Art and Design
After learning about the artist Magdalene Odundo, we took our learning outside onto the playground. We used chalks and large arm movements to represent her 3D work as 2D shapes.
Coronation Day
To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, we took part in a virtual trip to London. We travelled by train, went on the underground and visited Trafalgar Square, the Natural History Museum and the Tower of London. We have started to write letters to our families and friends about this visit - look out for these coming home next week!
After our picnic outside, we worked together in our groups to make a collage of the King using different UK symbols. We then started to sketch our portraits of the King.
We are now looking forward to the Coronation tomorrow!
