This week in PE we have continued with our ball skills unit of work.
On Monday, we worked on developing the skill of stopping a rolling ball. We did this using our hands (wide fingers) and our feet.
On Wednesday, we worked on our accuracy when throwing to a target using beanbags. At the end of the lesson we had a bit of a competition to see who could throw their bean bag the furthest using straight arms.
This week at drawing Club we read 'Billy and the Beast' by Nadia Shireen. Billy and her pet, Fatcat were walking in the woods when suddenly everything went black. Billy's quick thinking and the stash in her hair saved a lot of different animals that they met along the way!
Our Drawing Club vocabulary this week:
Adorable
Terrible
Rummaged
Stashing
Unusual
Suspicion
Impressive
This week we drew Billy, the beast and lots of different things that Billy should stash in her hair for her next adventure!
