Week 6

RE

In RE, and during worship, we have been learning about Jesus' death and resurrection and how this brings us hope. A Creative Worship activity was arranged in St James' church with the Reverend Rebecca. Reflecting upon what Easter means to us, we completed a Stations of the Cross passport before discussing our understanding as a whole class.

PE

In PE, we have been learning to complete yoga flows. Our basic flow is the Sun Salutation. This week, we worked in our groups to add other moves based around animals. 

Music

We have been learning about the music of South Africa. Today, we learnt about different drumming techniques used by South African musicians. We used different drums, percussion instruments and our bodies to tap out a range of rhythms.
