In RE we played a special game of pass the parcel which retold the Easter Story.
The prize inside was a chocolate egg. We talked about how the egg is a symbol for the empty tomb and the new life which Jesus had.
We dissected a seed in science to help us understand the parts of a seed and how it grows. We identified the food store, the seed coat and the baby plant.
In music we learnt to sing the song 'Once a man fell in a well' and then played musical instruments to the song too!
We continued learning to skip this week in PE but this time individually rather than with a partner. We practised no bounce and one bounce skipping.
We thoroughly enjoyed watching Year 3's performance of the Jungle Book on Wednesday which they performed as part of their Play in a Day experience.
