Week 3

History

This week we learnt about another great explorer, Amy Johnson. We researched her amazing achievements and explored some of her ventures. We loved learning new facts and some of us were inspired by her dedication and determination to achieve world records! Here is a video where some of us presented the key facts with our amazing reading skills! Miss Whaley was super impressed with our oracy skills!

Art & Design

We loved our abstract art lesson this week. We looked closely at the work of contemporary artist Beatriz Milhazes as inspiration for this lesson. We used circles to create an abstract piece with our kagan partner!

Snow Day

This Friday school was closed due to the snowy weather! Miss Whaley set us some home learning tasks which we engaged with and Mrs Blackburn set us some to do tasks on Purple Mash. However, Mr Theobalds told us it was important to enjoy the snow and have lots of fun building snowmen. Here are some of our creations in the snow!
