Art & Design
This week in Art we have been learning about different textures. We created a beach scene using a variety of materials that were similar textures to the images in the picture. The picture we used was Van Gogh's 'Amsterdam'. We were very lucky to receive lots of cardboard, tin foil and cellophane from our adults at home. We loved this art lesson, it was great fun!
Maths
This week we have continued to learn about Place Value within 100. This week we have mainly focused on Number Lines. We have worked with our kagan partner to create number lines with the correct intervals, and different starting numbers. We have practised counting in 2's, 5's and 10's to help us with this!
P.E
This week in PE with Miss Whaley we started a new topic of Net and Wall skills. We played some warm up games, our favourite one was North, East, South, West - this is where e have to run to that side of the rectangle from our cone as fast as we can. We then moved on to the main session where we learnt about the 'ready position'.
