Week 8
Last week of half term!
Our last week has definitely been our busiest week!
We created our information booklets about Blackburn and enjoyed delivering them to the library where they will be put on display.
We used lego to create our own fictional town and planned and created an independent booklet about our chosen town. Who wants to go to Blueburn, Greenburn or Redburn!?
In art we created our own 3d planets using pastels and chalks. We focussed on using different tones to create a 3d effect and then created a solar system with our friends.
Our oracy outcome for this half term was to deliver a presentation to Governors about online safety. We also invited Miss Bryan and the digital leaders, Mrs Jacques and Mrs Pratley and some of the year 1 children. The children were amazing, delivered a confident, entertaining presentation and received excellent feedback from their audience. Well done!
In PE we enjoyed consolidating our fundamental skills using the large apparatus in the hall. The childen were amazing and it was great to see how much progress they have made since the start of term.
Our Numbots /TT Rockstars launch day was a huge success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed dressing up and practising their maths skills! What a super end to a super half term!
