Week 5

Week 6

This week we have spent a lot of time in church practising our nativity concert this week.  It was lovely seeing all the children in their costumes on Wednesday and it really helped bring the performance together!

We had a visitor in school on Monday who talked to the children about the importance of effective handwashing which linked well with our PSHE topic of germs and the importance of keeping ourselves clean in science.

It has been assessment week this week and the children have demonstrated lots of our St James SKATs such as 'aiming high' and displaying a 'have a go' attitude.

The Courageous Advocates have organised a Christmas Card project which involved all the children in school making a Christmas card to send to local residents, care homes and residential establishments.  We have been thinking of others this week and how Christmas may not always be a joyful time for everyone.
