Week 5
The children have enjoyed writing riddles this week and have shared them with their friends. It was good fun trying to solve the riddles which the children read confidently and clearly.
It was also lovely to see the children reading their farm stories to Reception class children. Again the children read confidently and worked hard to read with expression and feeling.
We have been observing and measuring our bean plants this week. Not all beans have germinated yet and the children have assessed the conditions and modified. Let's hope we see lots of shoots appearing this week!
In music the children learnt the notations to play the song 'Once a man fell down a well' on the glockenspiel. It was great to see lots of smiling faces and such good teamwork!
