Week 4

Harper has won the star of the week award this week for her behaviour in class. She has great listening skills and always follows instructions. Harper often offers to help myself and others around the classroom and is a great role model for other members in our class. You are polite, hardworking and helpful Harper! Well done and keep it up!

Whole School Oracy Day

Year 3 were so excited to discover that Wednesday was a no pen day! We enjoyed plenty of poetry performances in English, creating some portraits of people that help us in PSHE and learning some new songs for their Vikings music unit. The class enjoyed using their talk tactics to communicate confidently with their peers, as well as practising  in some new Kagan team building activities. Our oracy pupil voice members, Cody and Esme Rose did a fantastic job planning the day and did an even better job keeping it a secret for so long! Overall, the day was a huge success and we can’t cant wait for the next one!

Rithika won the teacher choice oracy award this week for most improvement. Well done Rithika!
