Phonics Hunt
The children loved their phonics hunt outside this week. It had an 'under the sea' theme and the children had to find clues and read words hidden around our outdoor area.

Multi-Skills Club with Joel
The children are loving their sessions with Joel on a Monday after school.
Gymnastics - Jumping
This week we continued the Jack and the Beanstalk theme and we imagined we were Jack jumping from the beanstalk. We had some benches out and we practised performing jumps from the bench, landing on a spot. We tried to keep our bodies nice and straight when we performed a straight jump. We also practised a jumping jack. The children created a star jump in the air and landed with a straight shape.
We have to remember to bend our knees when we land, straighten ourselves up (no wobbling) and then stand nice and straight!
