Science

In science, we have completed our topic on forces by investigating friction. We used toy cars on a range of different surfaces. 

Art and Design

Using the artwork Gassed by John Singer Sargent, we used drama to set up tableaux to explore the imagery.

English

We have started our new book, Journey to the River Sea. To create interest in the subject matter, we watched a video called Hymn to the Rainforest. We then examined the poem Storm in the Rainforest to identify vocabulary and phrases that we could use in our own writing.
