What's in your circle?

We played a game of ‘What’s in your circle’ outside. The children found a special area to place their hoops down and looked carefully at what was inside it. The children discussed what they could see 😀

Musical Nature

On Tuesday, we collected natural objects and explored what sounds we could make using them. 🎶

Our Caterpillars

We have caterpillars in class! 🐛🌿

We will be observing these fascinating creatures as they go through their metamorphosis and transform into beautiful butterflies. 🦋

RE

On Thursday afternoon we learnt about Eid Al-Fitr with Miss Ahmed. Eid is a celebration which marks the end of Ramadan. We discussed what Ramadan is and explored how Eid is celebrated.

During choosing time, the children had the opportunity to do some Eid colouring, create henna designs and make paper chains. Towards the end of the afternoon we did food tasting. The children tried different foods which are eaten on Eid. These included samosas, pakoras, onion bhajis and poppadoms.
