Week One

Wow, here we are in the first part of the summer term.

This term is so busy, we have many different things happening this term.

This week has been amazing. We have welcomed a new member to the class, who has settled in so well.

This term we will be looking at short texts.

This week we started reading "The Mousehole Cat"

We have explored the text through sensory tables, listening to the sounds that may occur in the story. The smells the characters may have encountered. What kinds of objects they may have seen, and finally, what the characters may have touched or walked on.

PE Sessions

This half term Year 4 will be learning how to play cricket and tennis.

In Mondays lesson we were learning how to throw the ball over arm and catch correctly.
