Week 3

Star of the week!

This week our fantastic star of the week is awarded to Cody, Cody has been awarded this for his efforts in history. We have been learning about life in the Bronze Age and Cody has been very enthusiastic about his learning. He has remembered key vocabulary words and facts about the Amesbury Archer and was able to confidently present a piece of work based on a  famous warrior chief to the rest of the class. 

Star writer 

Lois is our star writer this week. Well done Lois.

Curling

Well done Lorcan who represented school in a Curling competition at St Bedes this week. Lorcan showed great resilience and teamwork, he put his full effort in and behaved amazingly. 

TT Rockstar 

Well done to Aimraan who was the highest scoring TT Rockstar this week. Also well done to all of our boys who won the boys vs girls battle. 

Maths

This week in maths we used practical equipment to aid our learning. We  worked in pairs and used the tens and ones to find fractions of a number.
