Week 2 (Monday 7th November - Friday 11th November)

Sleeping Beauty

On Friday we were so lucky as we got to watch a pantomime in our school hall. It was amazing and the reception class children joined in singing and dancing the whole way through.

The focus of PE on Wednesday was 'MORNING TIME'

First we moved around the room in different ways to warm us up using the spaces around the room. When Miss Bryan stopped the music we had to lie down as quickly and as safely as we could.

We played two games in the lesson.

The first game was called 'Breakfast Time'

Each child was told that they were a breakfast food - either Weetabix or Toast. When Miss Bryan shouted either of the breakfast foods, those children had to run over from one set of cones to the other cones WITHOUT been caught by the chasers! If the children got caught, they turned into jam and had to stand in a star shape. It was great fun. Well done to Freddie and Harriet, our winners.

We also played 'FLIPPING PANCAKES'
The children were put into four teams and they each had a turn to get their pancake (beanbag) into their team's pan (hoop).
