Week 1

What a busy first week back at school. We had time to explore our new classroom which Miss Whaley has filled with lots of exciting new things.

Maths

We played a game of swap and trade with Numicon to help us learn our number bonds to 10. Check what we can remember.

What do we need to put with 2 to make 10?

Phonics

We impressed Miss Whaley with our Phonics and tricky word knowledge from Reception class.

We played a game of 'Pop, Pop, Popcorn' to show our skills of segmenting and blending.

Music

We have been appraising some pieces of music, helping us determine the 'Tempo'.

Using these pieces of music and our new knowledge of the tempo, we began to add movement.
