P.E.
In our P.E. lessons, we have been developing our Netball skills. After our warm-up, we practised our shooting.
Science
Our research question was, "What is the best material to make a waterproof jacket?". We started by thinking about what 'waterproof' means before planning how we would set up a comparative test. We looked at a variety of different materials today, testing whether they were waterproof or not. We also considered whether they were actually suitable for making a jacket. As scientists, we discussed how we could use the information gleaned to improve more suitable materials such as cotton. For example, we knew that greaseproof paper was good at repelling water. What has been added to the paper to give it this property? Could we apply this to other materials?
