Week 2

RE

As part of our new RE topic, we discussed at the concept of 'victory' in our Kagan groups. What is this? What does it mean to be victorious? Do you have to win in order to be victorious?

Class Blog by Milena and Ralph

On Monday we went into church and learnt about baptism. On Tuesday some children went to Bikeability - we went up so many hills. All of us were shocked when we did a loop. It was so fun. The people who stayed inside did design technology  making a pop up book. We did bench ball in PE. We wrote our own poems. Wednesday the winners were Esther and Joshua well done! Other then that there's not more to talk about. Thursday World Book Day! That was fun. There were amazing costumes, for example, Ash, Cruella, Annie, Amber and a lot more. STAR OF THE WEEK!  Jennie good job ! We did French times and colours. That's all for this week!

Maths

We used concrete resources to support our learning about decimals. We were ordering and comparing decimals of up to 3 places. Using these resources helped us to see that, for example, 0.4 is greater than 0.36 which is in turn greater than 0.279.

French

In French, we played the game "What time is it Mr Wolf" (Quelle heure est il Monsieur Loup?) with Mrs Pearson. We had an amazing time asking and answering the question!
