Over the past few weeks, Year 5 have been learning all about 'The Blues'. They have been learning about the history of Blues music and why it is called The Blues, we have listened to short pieces of Blues music (Moanin' Lisa Blues by The Simpsons is our clear favourite!) and we have started to play some Blues music. We have learnt about the different notes you might find in a piece of Blues music and have been using xylophone's to play our different chords and notes! 🎶🎵
