On Monday we made houses using lots of junk modelling materials in our groups. We saw lots of team work and some good vocabulary being used. In our Geography unit of work this half term we have been learning about different houses and we ended up with five very different houses.
On Wednesday, Year 2 visited our classroom when we had an exhibition of the houses we have made. The Year 2 children moved round each group and asked us questions about the houses we had made. A lot of the Reception were shy to start with but became more confident with each group that visited them.
On Thursday afternoon we enjoyed a halloween hunt in our outdoor area. We had to search for the hidden halloween pictures and check them off our lists. The children LOVED this and persevered until they found all the pictures! The haunted house was very hard to find, a bit of teamwork really helped!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
