We had an exciting delivery earlier this week from Bowland Farm to fit in with our science topic 'Animals including Humans - Life Cycles.' We received 9 eggs and a mini incubator, and over the week we have been observing them as we anxiously await for them to hatch.
When the children arrived at school this morning (Thursday) they were very excited to see that 8 baby chicks had hatched and are doing really well. One more hatched during the day so we now have 9 baby chicks.

The children brought in their favourite book from home. We discussed the things we liked about our books and our favorite part.
We talked about churches and then using different materials we created our own church with different features. The children enjoyed working with each other and displayed some excellent team work skills.
