Week 7 commencing 13th December
Our Nativity Performance
This week we performed our class nativity with Year 2. Unfortunately parents; carers; gran-parents; aunties and uncles were not able to come and watch. Mrs Uttley and Year 6 came to be our audience. They said we did a great job.

Christmas Dinner and Jumper Day
On Thursday we celebrated Christmas jumper day and also enjoyed our Christmas dinner in school. Have a look at our picture gallery, little happy smiling faces.
Christmas Party
On Monday afternoon we had our class Christmas party. We had great fun. We began the festive fun by playing some traditional party games. Needing some quiet time, we then sat and watched the film Rapunzel whilst we had some snacks and a drink. The fun was completed with some singing of Christmas songs. Thank you Miss V for all the planning and preparation, we enjoyed ourselves.
Maths
We have been looking at place values using concrete resources such as Base 10 and Rekenreks. These have helped us understand how many tens and how many ones are in two digit numbers. Have a look our pictures from the lessons.
