Congratulations Year 2!

We have started our new unit on Explanation texts in English and Mrs Malik had a lot of 'explaining' to do when she arrived late in our role play! The children were awesome at creating their own oral explanations using because, so and if.
Our plant unit continues in science and the children dissected a bean and planted their own cress seeds to get a good understanding of how seeds germinate and what they need to do so.
We learned about the symbols on the Paschal candle in RE and the children designed their own candles. We enjoyed some hot cross buns too!
