Week 4

Week 4

It's been a busy week this week! The children have had an amazing attitude to their tests this week. Well done everyone!

We have also had lots of fun outdoors looking at woodland habitats and microhabitats in science.

We have been learning to do one footed jumps (leaping) in PE and used our teamworking skills to compete in some team games!

In computing we have been looking at William Morris who was a textile designer.  The children created their own wallpaper designs using a repeating pattern. They looked great!

Mrs Blackburn took the children to Church in RE so they could look at old and modern features of a church.  The children were very respectful and enjoyed the tour.

In geography we have been comparing the weather in Blackburn to the weather in Kampong Ayer using the location of the Equator, the Tropic of Capricorn, the Tropic of Cancer and the Arctic and Antarctic Circles. We also enjoyed  using the BBC weather website to research the weather in different locations.
