Week 6 (Monday 18th July - Friday 22nd July)
PE - Gymnastics
On Wednesday afternoon we did some gymnastics in the hall. Our theme for the lesson was rainforest animals and we were copying and creating shapes with our bodies.
We concentrated on:
- moving safely with and around others.
- showing determination to hold balances.
- knowing that if we hold a shape and count to five, people will see it clearly.
Friday Beach Party Treat
On Friday afternoon, Reception class joined Year 1 and Year 2 in the hall and outside for a 'beach party'. It was great fun and lovely to see the children mixing with others from different year groups. We had chips from Bamboo House and ice lollies to finish.
