  • Netball at St James' πŸ€ Tonight was the last of the team matches competing against other schools in our area. Miss Whaley is incredibly proud of the girls who represented us at the matches each week, and tonight she saw some amazing skills... and possibly one of the best netball matches to date! They showed all of our school values, with exemplary behaviour and most importantly did their best - working as a team in every match. However, most of all we all had fun! Well done to all of the girls, you were fantastic! ❀️

  • Year 1 went over to church today to learn more about baptism as part of their RE lesson. Reverend Rebecca created a role-play christening for the whole class and they loved taking part in baptising baby Hallie. We had parents, godparents and all of the items associated with a baptism. Year 1 loved it, and it made their learning a very special and memorable experience! β›ͺ️

  • Reception Class enjoyed a welly walk in the woods this afternoon. They talked about the changes since their last walk and found the secret waterfall hidden away! It's so nice to have lovely weather and a huge woodland area to explore right next to school. πŸšΆπŸΌπŸ€πŸŒΏ

  • SATs revision but make it Traitors style! Yesterday afternoon, the children worked in groups to answer a section of a SATs reading paper. However, there was one problem.... each group had a traitor! The traitor's job was to sabotage the group without being caught out. I wonder if you can spot any suspicious characters in these photos?
